Wrath. ‘ebrah, “overflowing rage,” “fury.” While the desires of the righteous man tend only to that which is good, and God decrees that all things work together for his good (Rom. 8:28), the evil man desires those things that naturally and inevitably bring upon him the anger of men and, finally, the anger of God. Both in this life and in the day of God’s wrath, the selfish reap trouble (see Rev. 14:10; 16:19; GC 36, 37).
